About David Ziegler

I wanted to be like my Dad when I grew up. That’s how I got into weight training.

I was into fitness and sports; old dumbbells in the basement. At 14 years old I began training with those dumbbells to be stronger and more like him. Through the school years I played most sports and constantly trained to be more competitive. Halfway through high school it became all about the weights. The one constant was the gym. I fell in love with practicing new ideas in the gym and kitchen to see results. At 17 years old I started reading muscle magazines to learn new techniques. This is how I discovered competitive bodybuilding. I was amazed by the sub-culture and the fitness community. I felt comfortable and excited that there was a community and a sport surrounding the things I loved most. Exercise, results and the lifestyle it all requires.
